OUR IMPACT
Mission
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is a stepping stone to new opportunities. We inspire young adults to make a positive difference in themselves and their communities. Through training and service, Corpsmembers discover their potential for healthy, productive lives.
Vision
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps envisions a world where all generations support one another; a world where young adults actively respond and adapt to an ever changing environment, inspiring local and global communities to reach their full potential in the 21st century.
Strategic Plan
Five ‘strategic initiatives’ serve as the pillars of our plan:
Build Organizational Sustainability – Strengthen board leadership, grow internal staff leadership capacity, and secure long-term diversified funding to ensure RMYC’s future.
Enhance Operational Effectiveness – Recruit and retain representative Corpsmembers and qualified staff, while delivering consistent, high-quality programs that meet community needs.
Expand Post-Service Pathways – Grow alumni networks, provide professional certifications, and create robust education and career opportunities for Corpsmembers after service.
Maximize Community Impact – Align programming with the most critical community needs, backed by meaningful data collection and program evaluation.
Elevate Strategic Communications – Share stories and data-driven results that highlight RMYC’s impact, engaging partners, funders, and the wider community.

“I found RMYC at one of the lowest points of my life, living without any sort of purpose or direction. I mustered up the courage to quit school and apply to work at RMYC. This experience enabled me to do things I did not think I was capable of. It was proven to me that I am capable of doing hard things.”
