Rocky Mountain Youth Corps is aware of the ongoing changes at AmeriCorps, including the demobilization of the NCCC program. We recognize this is a significant loss for the national service movement and feel deeply for the AmeriCorps members and staff whose positions have been impacted. While RMYC has experienced federal funding cuts, we have received no indication that our AmeriCorps grant funding is at risk. We remain committed to offering meaningful conservation and service opportunities to the youth and communities we serve.

Prevention Program
Positions available to those who are pursuing a career in Public Health addressing substance misuse. Ages 18 to 40. These are AmeriCorps positions and are part time. Receive a living stipend and an education award upon completion of a term of service. Work closely with school counselors to address substance misuse by youth. This is a “near-peer” mentoring program.
