Dylan Carolus
Upper Rio Grande Conservation Program Coordinator
Dylan was born and raised just outside of Flagstaff Arizona where he developed a love and admiration for the natural world. After a few years of bumming around the country in search of a deeper understanding of what it means he be human he landed in Taos New Mexico for the sole purpose of “shredding mad pow”. It was in Taos that Dylan was introduced to RMYC and the wonderful world of conservation.
Since then Dylan has worked as a sawyer, lift operator, and snowmaker with Taos Ski Valley, a fence crew foreman, a private contractor, a river and trail guide in Alaska and most importantly as a Corpsmemeber, a Crew Supervisor, and now the Conservation Program Coordinator.
In his off time you’ll find him flyfishing and hanging out by the river with his dog Tony and in the winter “still shredding mad pow” at Taos Ski Valley.
