Sequoia has been involved with Rocky Mountain Youth Corps as a student in the learning lab then moved on to serve 3 AmeriCorps terms as a Corpsmember in a trails crew and spike chainsaw crew as an
Assistant Crew Leader in 2018 and now serving in the Taos office as the Taos Pueblo Program Coordinator.
New Mexico true, the outdoors is where she thrives and she is passionate about the preservation of her home and traditions of Taos Pueblo as she is working to re-connect with her roots after living in various places throughout New Mexico during her childhood. When Sequoia is not in the foothills of the Taos Mountain or taking a musical cruise, she is tending to her one year old daughter and embracing all that motherhood has to offer. Sequoia is dedicated to self-improvement and strives to be an advocate for health and wealth in all aspects of life while also hoping to inspire her peers to take advantage of all the opportunities that RMYC has to offer.
