Adam Splitek
Upper Rio Grande Conservation Program Manager

Originally from the great state of Texas, Adam has managed RMYC’s Upper Rio Grande conservation program since 2014. Prior to this, he spent three seasons doing field-based Corps work in Colorado and Wyoming and coordinated volunteer and service-learning projects for multiple non-governmental organizations. With his TEFL certification (made possible by an AmeriCorps award), Adam also spent several years teaching English in Ecuador. His desire to use the outdoors as the ultimate classroom for learning, empowerment, and growth led him back to the U.S. and eventually to Rocky Mountain Youth Corps. Adam holds a B.A. in Economics and is currently completing graduate studies in Nonprofit Administration. When not at the Corps, Adam can be seen cycling the back roads of Taos with an ever-growing collection of high-visibility accessories.
