Contract a crew
Rocky Mountain Youth Corps provides work crews on a daily, weekly or monthly basis to towns, agencies, tribes, or organizations in need of crew services. Crews work on public lands (including private lands with public easements), waters, or buildings. Projects must have a long-term impact, provide educational potential, and/or be high priority. The sponsoring agency will provide a funding match to support a portion of the crew costs for the project based on the length of the program. Crews maintain and construct backcountry and urban trails, thin forests using chainsaws, plant trees, stabilize streambanks, build fences, enhance wildlife habitat, paint and fix up public buildings, develop camping facilities, build community gardens, assist with special events, provide weatherization services to both public buildings and private homes, and more. Contact our Field Program Director with a project in mind and we will work with you to get the right crew for the job.
