RMYC was a proud recipient of a generous grant from the New Mexico Association of Counties. Corpsmembers worked hard to protect state and private lands from forest fire while receiving their chainsaw certifications and learning valuable life-skills. The project was located in the Copper Hill area near Penasco.
It took an incredible amount of focus and cooperation to complete this project. Great job Corpsmembers! The next generation thanks you for your service.
Funding for the project was made possible by a grant from NMAC and the National Fire Plan through the Bureau of Land Management.
